Road Trip Day 1

Today we really had no plans but to get in the car and drive. We had no idea where we were going to sleep and we didn’t care. We know that we wanted to see Diamond Lake & Crater Lake but how long we would stay there, we were unsure.

The trip to Diamond Lake took roughly four hours and with not much to do there, we took a few pictures and got back into the road to see Crater Lake, the deepest lake in the country. Olivia has never seen these before, which made watching her facial emotions fantastic. The time up there was great and we took some beautiful pictures. As we left, we decided to stop by Klamath Falls and visit my aunt Gloria for forty minutes or so. I personally have not seen her in a few years which made this quite the treat.

Olivia and I decided that we would just push on to Reno, since it was roughly four hours away from Klamath Falls.
We did no more stopping until we got to Susanville in California, which is a quite and quaint town. Got us dinner there at a Round Table Pizza before we pushed on the last hour to Reno.

I plan on bringing everyone along on this beautiful vacation, please enjoy the pictures.

  1. I love Crater Lake, too. We have a printed book of photos that include pics from our vacation to Crater Lake, and our daughter loves to look at them. We’ll take her there someday, too.
